The purpose of this department is to provide the students with knowledge, skills and attitude that will enable the education in the institutions of Ministry of Education, formal and non-formal education and education units of public and private institutions to be developed and teaching activities to be more effective and efficient. In this way, the department aims to make the students specialize in the fields of curriculum development and educational technologies. Currently, the department provides the degrees of master with or without thesis and doctorate.
The graduates of the program have employment opportunities in a variety of fields. The graduates can work as curriculum development specialist and associate curriculum developer in the ministry of national education, provincial directorates of national education, private schools, curriculum development centers, assessment and evaluation centers, education departments of public institutions and organizations and armed forces. They can work as lecturers and research assistants at universities, as well.
